The college is encouraged to include the CCWD Education Specialist in the early developmental stages of planning. The Education Specialists may request evidence of the planning work; they may also request a phone or on-site interview. College staff may also request technical support by phone or at the campus. Community college program approval is facilitated by the staff of the Office of Community Colleges and Workforce Development (CCWD) and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC).
